Research Frames – English Version

The methods are OpenAccess (CC-By-SA).

The website „RESearch frames“ is a collection of methods designed to support students in conducting their own research processes. The methods can be applied across disciplines. For this purpose, the content inputs are reduced to a minimum; instead, students are guided to ask themselves helpful questions and then use them in relation to their own research challenges.

The methods emerge in the context of Jennifer Preiß‘ dissertation. It is important to complete the evaluation of each method so that they can be improved. The evaluation has benefits for the learners as well – they can reflect on their learning behavior.

Currently, there are methods for the following research steps:

  • Finding a research topic (Res-T)
  • Creating a research question (Res-Q)
